Natasha McCartney, a passionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker with an "R" privilege in the State of New York, operates as a self-employed practitioner in a private practice, providing virtual sessions to a diverse clientele. In addition to maintaining a private practice, Mrs. McCartney serves as an Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Provider for prestigious organizations such as The Disney Enterprises, Inc, Lyra Health, and various independent EAP companies. Her diverse portfolio includes working with prestigious corporate companies in BIG Tech such as Google, Meta, Amazon, Space X, Tesla; Finance and Banking such as American Express, BlackRock, Ernst Young (E&Y), JP Morgan Chase, Morgan Stanley; Sports such as, NBA, NFL, MLB and lastly various film/media and music moguls.
Her commitment to clinical excellence is evident in the extensive clinical supervision and consultation services provided throughout her career.
A graduate of the two-year Trauma Studies Program with the Institute for Contemporary Psychotherapy, Mrs. McCartney has achieved certification as an EMDR psychotherapist. The therapeutic approach encompasses cognitive-behavioral therapy, family systems therapy, individual trauma treatment, and substance abuse counseling. Currently contracted as an EAP provider with Cigna and Aetna Health plans, she has a history of offering single-case EAP services to various health insurance providers, including Value Options and MHN. Mrs. McCartney also dedicated over a decade as an EAP clinician with a health and hospital union.
Holding certification from the New York State Office of Alcohol and Substance Abuse Services (OASAS), her expertise extends to a wide range of clients, including children, adolescents, and adults. Her practice spans individual, couples, and family therapy, catering to diverse special population groups. Clients, ranging in age from 5 to 60 years old, benefit from her specialized focus on depression, anxiety, childhood trauma, bipolar disorder, substance abuse, parent-child conflict, couples counseling, job-related issues, and general life challenges.
In addition to clinical work, Mrs. McCartney brings extensive trauma training to the practice, including expertise in Critical Incident Stress Management, Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and The Trauma System Therapy Approach (TST). The dedication to ongoing professional development and the well-being of clients reflects her passion for fostering positive change and resilience in the face of life's challenges.
